What We Do
After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles is a non-profit organization contracted by Richard Merkin Middle School. Our goal is to: Educate, Enlighten and Inspire our students.
We provide basic after-school tutoring and homework assistance. We work closely with the school administration, core-day teachers, and the SMART program to ensure that students are getting the help they need to succeed. Everyday after students finish their homework they are given an option to participate in a host of enrichment activities. All of our activities are product-oriented and align with the California state standards of education.

- Community Service Learning and Student Leadership
At any given time students are exploring their passions that we offer all completely free of charge in a supervised and structured environment.

When?
Our program runs everyday from the time the bell rings at 3:15pm until 6:00pm
On Wednesdays we have an extended day from 1:36pm until 6:00pm.
We also offer field trips that can happen during the evenings and weekends.
What parents need to know
All students must be picked up no later than 6:15pm.
All students must complete an application and an early release form.
Students must adhere to the Code of Conduct form, which dictates their proper behavior.
